Website Overhaul Multiplies Conversions for Marketing Pros
The Challenge
Since its founding in 2005, Aha Media Group has grown from a handful of savvy healthcare marketers to a multitalented team of 60 content experts with airtight systems and processes.

The team felt their brand and website could better reflect these attributes and position them even more effectively as healthcare marketing pros.
“The website felt visually outdated, and didn’t match our current direction. We realized we needed a brand refresh,” said Aha Media Group’s Director of Marketing, Lacey Reichwald. “So we took a dose of our own medicine and conducted a content audit.”
In late 2023, Aha Media’s content strategists audited their website using the same comprehensive framework they use with their own clients. The audit revealed a number of opportunities to improve their messaging, design, site structure, and overall brand.
This called for a full teardown and rebuild of the website structure, with refreshed branding and web design.
One of the key findings was that the website lacked clear pathways to keep users moving through the journey. With significant traffic on top-of-funnel pages, Aha Media Group wanted to help guide users towards the next step.
Aside from the scale of the project, SEO was an important consideration for both teams.
“Anytime you’re doing a redesign, there are going to be fears about losing brand authority and rankings. Digital Ink reassured us through the whole process, explained how they would implement redirects, and launched it at a beta level first so we could see it before it went live. That gave us the confidence that everything would be in the right place,” Reichwald said.
Reichwald emphasized how smooth the collaboration felt, noting how few rounds of design revisions were needed.
“I was expecting multiple rounds of revisions, because we had a very specific feeling of what we wanted — but not an exact vision. But when we showed the first design to our stakeholders, they loved it and only requested a few tweaks.”
The new website went live in September 2024 to much excitement and praise from both team members and clients. The user experience is now streamlined and effective, moving prospects from interest to action — as proven by improvements in website analytics.
Results
Aha Media Group was immediately thrilled with their new digital home. Prospective clients complimented the website’s design and usability during website walkthroughs.
Digital Ink built the website to be user-friendly. With the old theme, basic edits were cumbersome and often required outside support. Now, the site’s backend is easy to use, and Digital Ink trained Aha Media Group’s website administrators to make many changes in-house.
Above all, the metrics speak for themselves. The website saw major gains in traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversions in the first 90 days after relaunch, which have continued to grow.
