Projects Update: June 2014

by Jason Unger, Founder

We have been BUSY. And when I say busy, I mean it. So busy, in fact, that we couldn’t even find time to feed the Digital Ink BlogBot to write some blogs for us.

But that’s a good thing – really.

Over the past few months, our blogging may have slowed down, but we certainly haven’t.

Thanks to the On the Clock NFL Draft Simulator we built for our clients at Fanspeak, their website traffic over the first five months of 2014 EXPLODED. Their Google Analytics will blow your mind: their total number of sessions was up 361% – and their total page views went up 1,855%!

It’s almost unbelievable. We’re working on rolling out even more tools for them over the next six months, so stay tuned for that.

We just launched an incredibly ambitious project for our clients at RecruitingBlogs, taking four of their separate sites – RecruitingDaily, RecruitingTools, RecruitingConferences and RecruitingWebinars – and merging them into one WordPress Multisite installation with brand new themes and tighter integration than ever before. You gotta check it out.

The team at Future Atlas came to us when they needed a new WordPress theme; we helped them pick it out, set it up, customize it and get it all launched.

Soupergirl, whose logo Forrest designed back in the day (and whom we previously designed a van wrap for), called on us to design and develop a new email newsletter template; it looks amazing (almost as good as the soup itself).

Our clients at Velvet Chainsaw were ready to migrate their site into a new WordPress theme, powered by Genesis, and needed help pushing it over the goal line. We came in and fixed all of the bugs and took care of everything they needed to make it live.

We designed a new logo for CardHoarder, an online marketplace for MTGO collectibles.

Along the way, we’ve begun working with a number of new clients, including Alexis Grant and her team at The Write Life, the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA) and their Premier Home Care site (which we migrated to WordPress), and Dr. Esther Rubin, a holistic dentist in New York.

Did I mention we opened an office in historic Takoma Park, MD? And we hired a new intern?

It’s been a BUSY – but most of all exciting – first half of 2014.

How can we help you? Reach out and let’s chat.
