Junger Explains It All Volume 2: Digital Marketing

by Jason Unger, Founder

Get your popcorn ready and prepare to learn something, folks – it’s time for some Junger Explains it All!

During this video series, not only do you get insights and expertise on improving your website and digital marketing, but you also get to experience my many hairstyles 😆

In all seriousness, let’s take a look at three videos focused on how you can optimize your social media and digital marketing efforts – and give you some takeaways and next steps.

Managing Google Reviews

If your business or organization hasn’t taken control of your Google My Business Profile, you need to do that right away.

Then, once you’ve added relevant content and polished its appearance, you can start to solicit Google Reviews. Don’t be uncomfortable asking for them – everyone does, and it can go a long way to establishing the initial impression you give when someone searches for you online.

Also – you’ll learn what to do if you receive a negative Google Review, even if it’s not accurate or warranted.

Your Marketing is About Standing Out

One of my soapboxes has always been that organizations are too quick to adopt current marketing trends – especially online.

You need to be less focused on what the competition is doing, or what everyone has adopted as “the” way to go; when everyone is zigging, you need to zag.

Focus on your audience and your goals, and let those drive your marketing.

Optimize Your Content for Social Media

Repurposing content works – especially on social media, where your audience may fragment – but that doesn’t mean that it’s a simple copy-and-paste job.

What works on Instagram isn’t going to work exactly the same on LinkedIn, which needs to be adjusted when posted on Twitter.

Take the time to do it right in order to maximize potential engagement.
